Why choose BYU?:
It felt like the right place for me. Additionally, Amanda and I went to high school together. I had a hunch that she would be coming to the Y, so I think that it gave me a little extra motivation!
Soccer Experience:
Played club soccer for the prestigious So Cal United club.
Hobbies:
Some fun things include: surfing, hiking, reading, finding new restaurants, movies, bike riding. Anything that gets you out the door and onto a new adventure is fun.
Who has influenced you:
My father. I did not think I was good enough to play on a premier team in southern California, but he believed that I could and never doubted that I was good enough to do anything that I set out to do. I contribute all my success in school, soccer, and life to my father. He is a man with true vision.

Sister, Brittany plays rugby at Arizona; Brother, Greg plays basketball for UC Irvine; Brother, Scott plays for BYU; other siblings Tanner, Victoria, and Whitney also play sports in high school … Ate cow stomach, chicken heart, and cow knee on his mission in Brazil … Moved to Australia with his family at age six, lived there for two years .. Awarded “Best Waddler” award as a kindergartner for his penguin imitations … Once fell out of a 30-foot tree but his branches as he fell, saving his life …
