This will be a weekend of food, fireworks, and futbol for Cougar fans, who will get to see the BYU men’s soccer team in action this Saturday against in-state rivals the Ogden Outlaws, and afterwards enjoy a massive local fireworks display from their game seats.

The Cougars have found themselves equally matched against the Outlaws this season, with one loss and one win over the team. Two more matches are scheduled against Ogden, one tonight and one on July 4, and will help to determine if BYU will be able to increase its current standing of 7th place in the PDL league.

“This needs to be a big night for us,” assistant coach Chad Sackett stated, referring to Saturday evening’s match.

Additionally, once the match is over, fans can enjoy fireworks put on by Provo’s annual Stadium of Fire concert series, held just a few blocks away at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
